We are looking for a Sr. Systems Administrator/Network Support Specialist to manage the design, development, maintenance, and support function for LAN and WAN.. Provides general in house technology support. Assists with hardware and software installation and maintenance, as well as general network and system administration. Applicants must be willing to perform all necessary job functions and uphold a high standard of confidentiality. Monitoring systems operations, reporting malfunction, and performing prescribed maintenance as directed. Assist users with “Open Office”, “MS Office” and other applications as required. Monitor systems and other hardware logs. Assist in monitoring assets to ensure timely delivery of Information Technology (IT) equipment and supplies. Administering and troubleshooting a network entails identifying and resolving network performance problems common to components of the network, such as cards, cables, and other related hardware. Establish disaster recovery plans for various situations if the network were to malfunction.
Required Skills:
• BS or experience in lieu of degree
• 4-6 years progressive hands on experience in IT from Help Desk to Desktop and some networking.
• Experience supporting remote users / Help Desk ticketing software / MS Office and Operating Systems
