Payment

A valid credit card is required to open an account on Zapoint.com. Receipt of monthly payment will be sent via email.

If a fixed term agreement has been agreed, payment will be due for the full term regardless of use.

The service is billed on a monthly basis in advance and is non-refundable. There will be no credits or refunds for partial months of service, or months unused with an open account.

If you subscribe to any of the paid portions of the Services (a "Subscriber"), you understand that once you have become a Subscriber, your subscription will be automatically renewed and your credit card will be charged based on the subscription program (e.g., annual, monthly, etc.) you have chosen.

Payment is due on the defined recurring billing date. Credit cards that are declined for any reason are subject to a $10.00 declination fee. Service will be interrupted on accounts that reach 10 days past due.

Cancellation and Termination

You are solely responsible for properly cancelling your account by contacting Zapoint via email at info@zapoint.com.

Upon cancellation all of your data and stored information will be deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

If you cancel the service before the end of your current paid month, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again.

Zapoint, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service for any reason at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account or your access to your account, and immediate deletion of all data in your account. Zapoint reserves the right to refuse service to anyone in its sole and absolute discretion.

Changes to Pricing and Service

Zapoint reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

Price of the monthly subscription Service is subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to Zapoint.com or the Service itself.

Zapoint is not liable to any client or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our top priority. At Zapoint, we work hard to earn and keep your trust. In order to do this, we never:

Rent or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Share your contact information with other Zapoint users, without your consent.

Additionally, any sensitive information you provide will be secured using industry standard policies, standards and technology.

Notice of all changes that materially affect ways in which your personal information may be used or shared will be posted in updates to our Privacy Policy. If you continue to use Zapoint after notice of changes have been published on our site, you hereby provide your consent to the changed practices.

Information Collection

Registration:

In order to become a Zapoint user, you must first create an account on the web site (www.zapoint.com). To do this, you are required to provide the following contact information:

Email address, nickname, full name, city, state and country. The user is also requested to enter his/her password. After entering these details and confirming on-line access, a welcome email is sent to the user at the email address entered together with further instructions (via a link) to verify the account.

Profile Information:

Once account has been verified, you will be asked to provide additional information on career, personal and educational achievements. Providing this information is optional, and can be entered at any time. This information is used to build your online resume and generate your Zapoint Lifechart™.

Information about your Zapoint Network:

In order to invite others to connect to your Zapoint network, you will enter their names and email addresses. This information will be used by Zapoint to send your invitation including a message that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders.

All information that you enter or upload about your contacts will be covered by the same terms of this privacy policy as cover your own personally identifiable information.

Cookies & Log Files:

Like most web sites, Zapoint uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file which resides on your computer which allows Zapoint to recognize you as a user when you return to our site using the same computer and web browser. Unfortunately, if your browser settings do not allow cookies, you will not be able to use our website. Like the information you enter at registration or in your Profile, cookie and log file data is used to customize your experience on the web site.

Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when you visit the Zapoint web site we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave Zapoint. The linkage between your IP address and your personal information is never shared with third parties without your permission or except when required by law.

Children:

Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service.

Information Use

Zapoint is a career management tool. The personally identifiable information you choose to provide on this site is used to help you describe yourself to others (such as, by way of example - recruiters and employers). Other information, that does not personally identify you as an individual, is collected by Zapoint from the website (such as, by way of example, patterns of utilization and access) and is exclusively owned by Zapoint. This information can be utilized by Zapoint in such manner as Zapoint, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate.

Zapoint Communications:

Zapoint will communicate with you through email and notices posted on www.zapoint.com. At Zapoint, we keep email traffic to a minimum, but will communicate when necessary to advise you on the proper functioning of your account, or other important information.

Customized Content:

Information you provide at registration or as you update your account will be used to customize your web-site experience.

Information Sharing

Sharing Information With Third Parties:

Zapoint takes the privacy of our users very seriously. We will never sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personally identifiable information to any third parties for marketing purposes.

We may provide aggregated data about the usage of our services to third-parties for such purposes as we deem, in our sole discretion, to be appropriate. We may segment our users by role (i.e. product managers, vice presidents), industry, geographic location, company. If you would like to be excluded from the aggregated research or products based upon aggregated data about our users’ activities on the site, please email customer service.

Legal Disclaimer:

It is possible that we may need to disclose personal information when required by law. We will disclose such information wherein we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on our company or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims

Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

You can review the personal information you provided us and make any desired changes to the information, or to the settings for your Zapoint account, at any time by logging in to your account at the Zapoint web-site and editing your personal information. You can also close your account through the Zapoint website. If you close your Zapoint account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable data. We may retain certain data contributed by you if it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law. All retained data will continue to be subject to the terms of the Zapoint Privacy Policy that you have previously agreed to. To request that we close your account and remove your information from Zapoint, please send your request to info@zapoint.com. Please send your request using an email account that you have registered with.

Security

In order to secure your personal information, access to your data on Zapoint is password-protected, and sensitive data is protected by SSL encryption when it is exchanged between your web browser and our web site. To protect any data you store on our servers we also regularly audit our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks and we use a tier-one secured-access data center.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Zapoint may update this privacy policy. In the event there are significant changes in the way we treat your personally identifiable information, we will display a notice on this site. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

Zapoint, Zapito, Zapping you resume, Webcruitment and LifeChart and other Zapoints graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names are registered trademarks, trademarks or trade dress of Zapoint, Inc. in the U.S. and/or other countries. Zapoint’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used, including as part of trademarks and/or as part of domain names, in connection with any product or service in any manner that is likely to cause confusion. The images and icons available in the Zapoint icon pack may be used by partners and third parties once an agreement has been reached with Zapoint, Inc.
